LURCHING AND HEAVING | Suzy Davidson

Coughing and trembling
Lungs too weak
To scream
Lights turned down
Low
And oxygen seems to be
Missing
As the room spins
We all jump in
Blindly, hands out
We'll feel our way
No corners in our cage
One big circle
Try to talk
When your mouth is gagged
Stuffed down tightly
In your throat
Crawl across the floor
With your legs tied together
And see if you still think the same
Hands and knees
Phlegm down your shirt
You caught up to me
And asked for dessert
